CAS BASH!

Although i had already met Holli through band getting to hang w/her outside of band was pretty interesting. We each put all our efforts into the cas activities and even won a prize for collecting the most and awesomest trash including a chair in the middle of the woods. I'd like to think that i helped her by making the activities of cas something that could be fun. While others didn't seem to into it , we got  hardcore into it. Getting cuts from the thorns of plants and going deep into the woods in search of neglected trash.
Learning Outcome #8 is stated as: Developed new skills. I'd always been somewhat of a mentee , but at this point i was the one to have to do the mentoring and i did what i could to help and encourage her when she seemed to not want to continue.
Learning Outcome #6 is stated as: Engaged with issues of global importance. Litering is a global issue that can't be dealt with all at once but can begin its decrease by beginning in your small communities and areas. Holli and I did what we could to clean up and pick up as much as we could with what we had.

Learning Outcome #4 is stated as: Worked collaboratively with others. Holli and i worked together to find and collect the biggest amount of trash that we could. We worked together as a team rather than individually.
Learning Outcome #2 is stated as “Undertake new challenges.” Personally i'd neve gone through the side of the rode picking up trash and other such things , this was a first for me.
